Ok I will keep this short. This piece of kit is amazing, expensive but amazing. The fabric is very durable and stretches in all the right places. The wind stopping ability is parallel to none. I use this piece for all the early morning climbs before the sun starts to warm up. That being said, the North Face Windstopper is not going to be keeping you warm in very cold temperatures, nor is it meant to. Sizing runs quite big on this piece. I am 6’1 and 180 pounds and wear a small (see the fit in the photo above.) I have enough room for a layer beneath and it is a bit snug in my forearms but that is the way I like to climb. The durability seems to be top notch so far. I have rubbed and pulled on a lot of limestone, flowstone, and conglomerate and I do not see any signs of pulling, pilling, or tears.
Coming in at £ 220.00 this piece of kit is very pricey; however, I feel that I get every bit of value I paid for.
