Jesus. Ever since I saw the infamous one finger, one arm, one 10 kg weight (one hell of man) pull up, I ask around and search for different workouts to help my climbing. One of the most common responses I get is “climb more.” Obviously, it would be great to climb all day every day and live in El Caps back yard; however, the majority of us are going to live in cities, work long hours, and (at least I have to) travel for my job. This means that the climbing wall is not always available. While getting onto a wall is of course the idea, Magnus (even has an awesome name) recently put out this video showing some additional climbing work outs that don’t need a wall.
I am currently trying some of these out on my days away from the wall. My one armed, one finger, one 10kg weight pull up is likely not going to be accomplished any time soon, but maybe it’ll help me nail that 6C+ I am currently working on in my gym.
